We offer both classical towages within one water basin and complex oceanic ones with wide experience of inland waterway transit towage from the seas of South to the seas of North and back.

When offering a floating object towage our turnkey service includes:
- selecting a route and a suitable tug (s)
- technical support (towage project development – stability calculation, tow line design, shelters’ selecting en route, procedures on a tow sealing, instructions to a tug master, etc., agreement of the project with classification societies)
- preparation of a tow for towage (converting, sealing), providing a tow for class society inspection, obtaining the one-way towage certificate
- agency attendance to the voyage (attendance at the sea ports en route, weather forecast provision, obtaining of approvals from oversight bodies when performing the voyage, scheduling, etc.)
- survey and insurance of a tow could be arranged on request.

In 2012 a sea going tug "Antey" of 2310 hp, became a part of the "Belfreight" fleet, capable of performing deep sea towages, along with a river-sea class tug "Lazurit", 740 hp., which can trade both at sea and on inland waterways.

The basic pro forma tow agreements we use are standard BIMCO charters such as "Towcon" and "Towhire".

JSC "Belfreight" possesses a corresponding license enabling it to perform sea towages.

Among the quantity of towages we carried out there are some of interest as listed below:

- a floating hostel of "Kalevala" towage in 2001, from Murmansk to Bautino (Kazakhstan). Customer – "ENKA" company.

- a floating crane of  "Sevmorneftegaz" towage in 2005, Sevastopol – Severodvinsk. Customer – LLC "Gazflot".

- a self-lifting drill unit of  "Amazon" towage in 2006, Yamburg – Murmansk – Yamburg. Customer - LLC "Gazflot".

- a dredge hopper of  "Temriyukskiy" towage in 2007, Temriyk – Arkhangelsk. Customer – Federal State Enterprise "Rosmorport".

- an extended carrying capacity floating crane of  "Matador-3" towage in 2008, Rotterdam-Kaliningrad-Rotterdam. Customer - LLC "Lukoil-Kaliningrad morneft".

- a self-lifting drill unit of  "Amazon" towage in 2011, Kharasavey – Murmansk. Customer - LLC "Gazflot".
